My car is nothing special, had it about a month and have been dying to get to a track and get baseline runs to see where I start at. Only Mod is K&N intake system\heat shield, 100 octane, tire pressure at 20psi. I've been to the track a few times but never had anything worth running. I have no shame so I'll be honest and admit that as I staged my first run I went too far through the lights, backed up, and never took it out of reverse. Wasted the pass. 2nd pass I launched at 2500 and bogged badly, ran 15.1, 3rd pass launched at 3700 ran a 14.9, 4th pass launched at 4200 and ran 14.6 at 93 mph. This was at Maple Grove yesterday. I caught a RSX the other day on a back road and he took off but I stayed on his bumper for about 5 minutes before we got into town and wanted to know what they could do at the track and lucky me I got to find out on my [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHxzrZtMVgw"]last pass...[/ame] On the way down I had a passenger with me and was with 5 cars of friends of mine on the PA turnpike (no traffic at 10am) and a helrot M3 passed me with 2 guys in it. I caught back up to them and motioned for them to run and with no beep I heard him downshift and take off so I did too. He jumped 1\2 car on me but stayed right there up to 120mph before getting off it. I was shocked because I had just been telling the guy in my car how M3 is the shit and it costs $4000 for the 3.2 liter swap
nice--
Far too much to list
If anyone has advice for how to get melted rubber off the sides of the rear bumper I'd love to hear it...didn't budge for Goo Gone, laughed at a clay bar, barely scrapes off with my finger nail...
tried some other cleaners on it with no result, scared to ruin finish using too much. The high octane gas is still smelling good, someone told me it will clean the valves out, any validity to this?
Try the magic eraser (from mr clean) that thing can work wonders!
That is an amazing run! Any pointers for me when I go to the track?
great run i hope to get that or better with the mods in my sig!

I'm sure you should run better than 14.6...I has no mods. Pointers for Noobs at track...go somewhere you can get more than 4 passes. Seriously.
by track i though u ment with right and left turns
no turns, i dont even know where a "track" is nearby let alone have skill or vehicle worth running
I don't know of any coming up but I'd be into it.
I would like to try this too, but I have to re-do my suspension and get get new tires.

It sounded like your clutch was slipping in the run on the video... What exhaust? I like the noise it makes.
Whether you think you can, or whether you think you can't, you're right!
yeah i was confused on the track part of this too. but looked good im not sure what it should be running. and how did the car run on 100 octane compared to 91? and did you try running different tire pressure. might help with launch.
