8 Series (E31) (1991 - 1997) As the last E24 rolled off the production line in 1989, its replacement was quick on its heels to fulfill the fantasies of those looking for a touring coupe with all of the luxury, performance, and prestige of a BMW, only now with both 8 and 12 cylinder engines.

They are 4 pot and powder coated. I've only had the car for a little over two weeks. The pictures were taken when it came home.

You are right about the Forum being a bit slow. A few lurkers is all

I suppose we could use it as a Private chat room.

I kind of like it too!!

Next step is chipping it. Or should I say RE- Chipping!!

Currently has a Dinan chip. I had found a source for Euro style chips for my 740 and they make the Dinan seem like a pussy cat compared to a Tiger!! So one is on the way now for the 840.

I borrowed the one from the 740 and felt like crying when I had to put it back!!! Completely different car!! Even sounds different!

I've only had it for about a month.

I've had the e32 740 for about a year and a half. That is a sweet ride too!!

It is really hard to go back to "normal" cars after these two. Rental cars require thinking to keep from tipping them over or getting run over by trucks! Spoiled pretty bad now.
