I'd be interested to see you dyno, and then install an LS6 intake and see how much of an increase you get...
AN LS6 Intake doesn't make that big of a difference.

That's why you only had one, which isn't important, but that's not why it sucked.

btw, 241 or 5.3 heads are easily 10-15 more HP than mine. That being said, my cam makes up about half that. How much more lift/timing does the vortec cam have?

With a mind like that, you could do well in 2nd grade. Drag racing is a lot more difficult than meets the eye. Hitting a corner is often easier.

Anyway, you can keep your E30 complex. I'm sure the car is worth what you paid for it.

Hitting a corner is easier if you don't know how to drive!!!

Oh, and the E30 M, they are worth every penny!!!

Heres a little something extra.

I've honestly never researched it...

All I know is I've got different heads, cam, and intake manifold...

01/02 LS1's also got the LS6 clutch from the factory...

Then why are you posting in this forum?

Go do what you want with your own time, and let everyone else make up their own mind about their driving decisions.

And a drag strip does have turns, the one to enter the track, and the one leaving it.

I don't think I have a stock clutch.

As often as time permits, which of late is very little. We rent a track about an hour outside of my town. I use to Auto X my E30 M in the mid 90's.

As I start to read through his posts, I would agree. They're all about some AMC Pacer he drives, or was it a Tranny Am? Ahh, whatever, it's not a bimmer..

Sure there is.. That's why you hang out on a bimmer forum, because you *kill* in a TA or a Jeep. That makes perfect sense.
