| 8 Series (E31) (1991 - 1997) As the last E24 rolled off the production line in 1989, its replacement was quick on its heels to fulfill the fantasies of those looking for a touring coupe with all of the luxury, performance, and prestige of a BMW, only now with both 8 and 12 cylinder engines. |

850 CSi tech questions
I am currently working with the 5.6L motor from a 1994 850 CSi. I am trying to find someone who has dry sumped this, or other V12 BMW motors. Basically I need to take atleast 2.25 inches off the oil pan for it to fit my application. Can I pull the oil pump, use a remote pump and refab the pan to get my two inches and not dry sump? I have many questions, can anyone help?
