8 Series (E31) (1991 - 1997) As the last E24 rolled off the production line in 1989, its replacement was quick on its heels to fulfill the fantasies of those looking for a touring coupe with all of the luxury, performance, and prestige of a BMW, only now with both 8 and 12 cylinder engines.

Question Worth adding Plasma Booster coil paks to 850csi?

I'm coming to the end of the road in terms of simple mods for my machine. I've heard a few people talk about the coil packs but I've resisted forking out for a set so far. Can anyone tell me whether they'd be a worthwhile addition?

Thanks,

Oz

Welcome to the forums! You'll find alot of information about bmw's here! I'd recommend moving this post to general bmw discussion as you will get more response there. IMHO I've heard the plasma coil packs don't do anything, but that could just be me. Let me know how things work out, btw post picks of your car!

Good idea I will move the post to general. Having been involved in a couple of other vehicle related forums for some time, I was surprised as to the lack of any specific performance/mods forum though.
