Bumper Brackets (Euro to US Valance)

Anyone interested? I think you'll get the basic idea from the pictures. These are home grown so you'll have to drill on your car to make them fit. I threw some trim paint on there. Made these like 4 years ago so no making fun of my welds.

I like those - I was going to ask BoomerDJ to make me some, but those would work just fine. I'm in. I'd have your poly-u bushings too if it wasn't for the way the company i'm interning with does paychecks

I'm not going to mass produce these. These two brackets were on my car and I don't need them anymore.

Didn't you do a write up on these back when you first did them? I remember seeing something similar in the "back issues". Also is that a euro rear or NA rear on your car?

    Edit, nevermind.

    Damn it!!!

I really need these! I've been trying to get my bumpers going, but I'm so short on time to make the brackets!

Is anyone making these - I don't paying $50-75 for them.

If Drew backs out, I'll take them.

    Cheers,
    Marco

I won't be backing out - euro bumpers are next in line for me. However, I could probably make you some after i get these - I can do basic MIG welding, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Hey Drew, that would be very nice of you, indeed! As you can see by this picture, my car can use the brackets

I can certainly get some steel and bend it and drill it to make the brackets, but not nearly strong enough. I don't have a welding machine and that's what keeps me from doing this right.

why would you roll like that? those brackets are the most easy thing to weld. Save the money you would spend on the brackets and buy a mig/tig! tig is probably a better way to go

I have a full set of prints in PDF format. E21legion.net won't support PDFs. So I guess I need to find a host? will photobucket take pdfs?

Who all is interested in these things who can't weld? I'd be willing to throw some together if there is enough interest. 2" strip is pretty cheap and I have a brand new Lincoln MIG I'm dying to get dirty.

What's the thickness of that metal you used?
One who is confident doesn't need to intimidate, confidence alone is intimidating enough.

Its on the engineering prints I made... I think it's note 1. But it's 3/16ths.
