Half Price BMW CCA membership @ Car Show in Albany

If you have thought joining BMW CCA but the $45 seemed a bit much, we have a deal for you. On Saturday June 7th, the Patroon Chapter is holding the 9th annual Concours d'Elegance BMW show and shine at Keeler BMW in Latham NY. This is a judged show for BMW CCA members with categories for Concours, Tuner, Dirty Dog and everything in between. Cars not entering the above mentioned categories can be judged for clean or super clean conditions. Following the show, there is a ralley to the Saratoga Auto Museum, and then a reception and dinner at the beautiful Skidmore College campus. Costs will be $10 to enter a car in the competition, $5 for admission for two into the museum, and $20 for your full course meal w/ reception appetizers.

What is the deal? During this event, Keeler will be paying half the cost of membership into the club. Keeler is a big supporter of the local owners, and we appreciate this kind offer which is not often seen from factory dealers these days. This show is only BMW's. Later in the month the Patroon chapter will be attending a show at the Saratoga Auto Museum that is for all German marques. Please consider staying over for the ralley and dinner... the food is amazing! Info can be found at PatroonBMW.org.

Thanks for the bumpl.... registration starts at 8:30 and rags down is called at 10:00 so the judging may begin. Light turnout in the Tuner category so far this year, so any Tuner entry stands a great chance at a nice trophy!

How was the show? Any pics?

Thank you for asking! It was a beautiful day, we ended up with a great selection of bimmers and a couple of beamers, and we received a lot of compliments from those who attended. Pictures will follow. I spent most of the day working on judging, but a couple of members were able to get photos of all the participants. We have a meeting on Wednesday, and I should get a CD of photos which I will post soon after.
