This is going to be my first DIY post. I have been wanting to change my cabin filter since I bought the car. I have heard mixed comments saying its impossible to do it without removing the glove box, there is also a good DIY for that someone did. I did it today in 30-45 minutes without removing the glove box, it was very easy. I would never recommend removing the glove box to change the filter. I hope you guys enjoy.
I have a 2nd part since im only allowed 15 pics.
You could have reposted in your thread instead of having two that are going to be impossible for people to search and find both.
Great tutorial, thanks for taking the time to take all of the pictures & post it up, I would ask a moderator to merge to two threads & put part II directly underneath your part I post.
Sooo wheres the rest?
Threads merged.

You think that filter looks gross? This is how a filter looks like when it hasn't been changed in 13 years. Click on the image to zoom in a bit. Yes, the dirt comes to the top of the pleats.
I had to armwrestle the filter out and when it came out, an avalanche of leaves and dirt came rushing out.

My mech pulled it out in about 1 minute. I was shocked. Not as hard as some people make it to be!
Excellent DIY, thanks
