    I like the cylinder count on that M10 Thats like the ... Nissan DOHC motor made from 3 motors. Ballin!

    Thanks guys, yea the M10 was fun but I want more so the M30 should do the trick. This engine is just to get everything setup and running and then will swap out the engine for a built one.

    M30.. Why not do an M50 while you're at it? DOHC...24v... I guess M30's do have the displacement and are more boost friendly, bah!

    I chose the M30 because i'm a cheap bitch and with enough boost in a 2000lb car and lots of torque it will be fun to drive. Plus I like the old school stuff. Oh it's a 4" DP.

    good & tight, i was told i should talk to you about turboing my M30. any info i should know before i decide on what to get? i've built an M30 before, but that was just a stock rebuild that the engine needed. i dont know much about turbos except i like them and i want one for my 7. if you can give me any info about what to do and what not to do, that would be MUCH obliged. thank you.

    thak you. i go to UTI in avondale, arizona and im seeing all these M3's and i think at least one or two M5's, but i wanna turbo my 7. real bad. i just defected over from the big american engines crowd(my first engine build was a 5.0 305 V8 for my K10 blazer in high school. i added a lunati voodoo cam i found in my freinds shop, rebuilt the oldQ-jet 4bbl, put on a set of gold rockers and oil filled lifters along with hooker long tubes also from the shop and strait pipes with cherry bombs. when i started that beast up it sounded like the end of the world!) and i have the knowledge of M30's thanks to my high school auto teacher and i want to turbo mine. simply put. i wanna go fast!

    I am nearing completion on the HX55 m30 build/tune in the e34.

    In the event that I go insane shortly after I am driving it again, do you have a source for driveshafts that can compensate for a m30 in a e30 sedan.


    If I cannot get the e34 down to 2800 lbs then I am moving to e30 or maybe a tubbed e21.

    I am now fighting the traction issues that the boosted m30's deliver to us.

    so, i could get a Holset HX35 off an old cummins right? because i found this on the craigslist here, but it says its for smaller engines. is this the right one?
