    Hello everyone.
I haven't done much with the Z3 lately. I've been getting my Yamaha ready for summer. But I thought you would get a kick out of my lastest mod.

Thanks for looking and have a great summer. Doughboy

    Very nice!

What do you do about the license plate when the trailer is attached? You'd still need to have it somewhere.

Finally an answer to the oft-asked question of "what do I do with this blank rectangular space on my bumper?"

Hello. The trailor is registered and licensed so I don't think the car plate has to show. I have been throwing it the trunk and haven't had any problems yet. Thanks for the comment.

Care to bring that car out to Riverside in a couple of weeks?

Thats awesome! If the M coupe had the plate on the bumper, I'd totally do that! You must get quite a few looks with your car pulling that bike! Now you just need a modded out trailer!!

Both the trailer and car have to have plates in place, unfortunately. You could probably fab up a plate holder that attaches to either the receiver or the trailer tongue, though.

Couldn't he just put some adhesive magnet strips to the back of the plate and position it on his trunk lid?

Thanks for the ideas. How about attaching it with magnets right over the BMW logo on the trunk lid? What do ya think?

Boy. Great minds do think alike. I just shot a reply like this to Vinci. I think it's going to take a couple industrial magnets to hold it in place. I haven't had much luck with self stick mags. Thanks for the reply.

That would probably be perfect. Just make sure that your magnets are coated in something that won't scratch your paint.

If you can get magnets strong and thin enough, you could probably leave them on the plate even when it's in the bumper location.

I have some 'good' moments, but not too many!
If magnets don't work, maybe strong suction cups?
I'd put the plate in the 'blank' spot to the left of the roundel though, not over it.
