    Summer Detailing

Link to my own car's detail on post # 34!

*****Post #29: Pics of the Z3 Coupe detailed 6/7/08*****
****Post #25: Link to Toyota Highlander just detailed****
*****Post #9: Pics of the Lexus GS300 that was detailed*****

    Hi all,
Using the bf.c CA board to help reach out to the bimmer community that I have grown upon for the past couple of years!

I have been detailing automobiles for the past 4 years and I think that I have reached the point to reach out to professional clientèle.

I have done work on automobiles anywhere from "show" sports cars to larger family SUVs and vans, a fairly broad range of examples.

The services I am most competent in include, but are not limited to:
    Standard wash
Clay and removal of chemically bonded dirt and grime
Many sorts of paint correction to remove scratches, "spiderwebbing," and paint defects
    Sealant and wax applications
Interior upholstery care and carpet cleaning/shampoo
    Interior restoration of plastics/vinyl/leather care
Wheel care: Clay/Wax, removal of brake dust (acidic compounds available too for tough jobs ie. track cars with semi-metallic brake compunds bonded to the wheels)

*I will have a full list of products that I have available soon, I am still working out exactly what products I want to stick with. I am VERY happy with most of the Lake country pads, meguiars polishes, Coatsdetailing products, and my miscellaneous coats detailing interior supplies.

My pricing is fairly flexible and revolves around the automobile the detailing service is performed upon, but please don't hesitate to reach me on my cell phone and I will be able to give you a customized quote for you!

Most detailing work runs between 100-200 depending on the work needed to correct paint/wheels/interior, etc..., but don't hesitate to email me for an actual quote!

And of course, a nice discount for bf.c members

I am located in the Laguna Beach area (92677) But I am willing to travel in the Socal area to detail local automobiles.

Please email/PM me and I can forward you my cell phone #; just would rather not post up my personal number for the world to see!

I can always send photos of my past work to you via email, so do not hesitate to contact me! Links to threads with pictures from details will also be posted throughout this thread, so take a look!

    Best regards,
    Jake R.

You got a tank, or do you depend on water @ the location. Reason I ask is that my office is looking for a guy to come once a week or every other week, but there is no water outside to hook up to...

GF is also looking for a every other week deal.

Located in 92677, laguna niguel though, haha.

not sure why you wouldnt just post pics of past work online and give the link to it ... if you are as good as you say, you should be proud to show off what you can do!

Actually, I am just posting up pics as we speak of the car I detailed yesterday. Not a lot of pics to upload yet, but I am posting all my pics to the show shine and detailing forum!

Take a look at the gs300 that was done yesterday:

Looks good - you should get a gallery going of all your details - interior and exterior shots, the whole deal, then post a link to it.

Clay= Meguiars clay kit (buy it in bulk, the same yellow compound most of us use)
Polish (all meguiars, ranging in cutting potential of the compound and pad itself) DA Porter Cable 7424 or hands used to polish , depends on the severity of the swirling/scratching.

Sealant (Havent had a customer that needed sealant in a while so I need to pick up a new bottle... Not sure of the exact name off the top of my head but I used Zymol something... I use their wax also, but Meguiars tek wax gives me really good results also.

Yes, I do interiors too. Need to pick up some more shampoo for carpets if that's what you require, but I am experienced with full vacuums and getting into tight crevices, carpet shampooing, plastic and trim care, leather care, etc...

PM me and let me know what you need specifically, that way it will be a lot easier to narrow the info down and such to put together a package
