FS: Euro 3.2/6-speed E36 M3
4/24: SOLD
Its time to actually sell my car. I bought the car 2 years go, Feb. 06, after having made my previous E36 M3 into a race car, I began to look for another street e36 m3. This car popped up and it was mine two weeks after the ad was posted. It’s a very special car and very fun to drive, and I hope it finds an enthusiast new owner. But I must sell the car. I want to do more racing this year, and selling this car will allow me to do that. It’s a really great car, and I’ll be sad to see it go. There are only a handful of S50B32 street cars in the US. Now one question will be: this car has been for sale for a while, why hasn’t it sold? Its been a combination of buyers falling through and bad luck on my part. The car was hit on the drivers front corner after I took a deposit on it 2 months ago. A low speed impact in which the bumper, nose panel, hood, and drivers fender were replaced. .The car was totally repaired by the best dealer in town. Fighting insurance to get the right parts and it done correctly took nearly a month and a half. But the car is done now, and looks great, so back up for sale it goes. Engine S50B32 Euro 3.2 Engine, 321 HP with 81k miles Factory Euro oil cooler Factory Euro 3 core Radiator and Cooling system Euro Headers and cats Euro SuperSprint Race cat back S54 Crank pulley Eurosport Conforti 3.5” euro intake Drivetrain: 6-speed Euro M3 transmission, with 81k miles UUC Stg II ltw flywheel 8.5 lb with E34 M5 clutch 325i Clutch Slave to firm up clutch pedal feel 3.91 Differential LSD, with 70k miles '95 US M3 chassis with roughly 120k on the body, the 549th M3 in the US. Front and rear subframes reinforced, rear swaybar tabs reinforced also ZKW headlights with 5100k Prolumin HID’s Euro clear lights all around Carbon Fiber MA Shaw rear deck lid (painted factory Dakar I) Suspension/Brakes: Racing Dynamics front and rear adjustable sway bars and rear sway bar links(rear bar currently not on the car) KMAC adjustable front camber/caster plates BMP Design Rear strut tower brace Ground Control rear shock mounts, Ground Control Sway Bar Link, only 1 on front bar H&R coilovers with 340/380 progressive rate springs. Approximately 60k miles on dampers. Comes with H&R coilover wrenches(also includes Eibach ERS 7” 450 lb springs) Active Autowerke spherical-bearing trailing arm bushings. Powerflex polyurethane front control arm bushings (offset) Stainless/Teflon brake lines Euro floating front rotors Ate Blue Brake Fluid Motorsport X brace 8.5x18” Polished BBS RC’s 235/40 18 Kuhmo MX’s with ~40% left Original Spare BMW Double-spoke I wheel (however tire has been replaced as it was too old) Current spare tire is a Nitto with minimal tread 235/40/17. Interior: Rare Alcantara/cloth M Vaders, full front and rear seats Euro cluster with 7600 rpm redline and working oil temp gauge Full 18-button on board trip computer (OBC) 6 CD changer Sunroof Adjustable steering column AC Schnitzer aluminum pedals Alpine 7894 Head Unit 6s speed knob Hardwired for V1 This car is really great to drive. It makes a normal US M3 feel very lethargic. With the shorter diff it is quicker than an e46 M3. Everyone who’s driven it loves it, and always are wow’d by the power differences compared to a US M3. The Bad: 1) I bought the car with a scratch in the roof. I don’t know the best way to fix it, so I have left it there. I have provided pics of it, its only noticeable when you get up close. I don’t know how it was made or what made it. It is through the paint, but not the primer. 2) There is a small dent/scratch just above the door handle on the drivers door. There is a pic of it also, its not very noticeable. 3) The passengers side upper speaker grille is broken. Pretty common part to break. 4) The A/C has been removed, when the engine was swapped in. However, the heater core is still present so the heat works. All the wiring is still there, and I have the bracket to mount a US compressor to the block. You would just need a compressor and lines. 5) The drivers side seat cable for rear seat access is broken. I have the cables, but have not fixed it. They will be included. The car was detailed not long ago by a pro. And the paint work is brand new on the front end. It does have the classic fading on the side skirts and mirrors, all Dakar 95’s will do this. Otherwise you would never think the car has near the mileage it has. Its not a concourse car, but a very clean street car for its age. . I am asking the same price as before, $18,500. Its hard to price a car like this, it’s the only legal S50B32 car for sale in the US. The car can be inspected in any state (not sure on CA), it will pass emissions and is just like any other OBDI M3 as far as inspection goes. ![]() ![]() ![]() I have 50 pics of the can and various parts located here: http://s157.photobucket.com/albums/t...ale/?start=all

If I didn't buy my dakar almost two years ago, I'd be all over this lol. Good luck with the sale, I'm sure you'll find a buyer real soon.

Year matters a lot: 95 was the last year before OBDII, which makes the swap legal in places like NoVA, where 96+ cars cannot get tags unless OBDII is functional to check all systems.
Which is why the lady in the next office heard me start sniffing when I read post #17. I paid about that much for a nice lo-mile 96 about 2 years ago, before our emissions laws changed. ![]() Good luck on the sale: wish I'd known in 06 what I learned in 07. Tex

try capital one, I know they would lend the money 2 months ago.

The car does pass tailpipe emissions just fine, if you are worried about that. As far as the state is concerned its a normal 95 M3, no one knows the difference.
