Can I use super glue or something else?

I would just like to avoid having to purchase a hotglue gun.
Yes. They both snap into their housing. You really don't have to use any glue. I recommend it just to over do it and confirm it is good to go.

Let me know if you have any questions specifically. Happy to answer them for you

If you amp them it will certainly have more 'output'.
So not too bad, as in PnP?

Wow, I'm definitely waiting for that setup. I'm assuming then that you guys will offer better speakers (Stage II?) to compliment the additional power (or are the Stage I speakers already capable of using the additional power from the upgraded amp)?

Also, will there ever be a huge package deal consisting of your upgraded amp, full set of speakers, and subwoofer upgrade? (EDIT: And maybe an option of adding in the ICE unit too?)

Post my testimony

bsw's were the easy solution for my 99m3
well thats what i thought untill i got them

after installing the stage 1 i was veryyyyyyy satisfied and at only..what 400$? well then i moved onto the sub and amp

1. first of all the sub and amp was what.. another 450$? and it came with a low power amp which only powers the sub1/3 and the rest to the rear speakers.. rear speakers have too much base btw. needs more treble in the back (this might be the amp problem but i tried to give it as little base and as much treble as possible.. all my songs sound very deep..)
these speakers can take much more than the 300 watts + hk amp
i think bsw should take out the shitty hk amp+crossover and the new plug.and.play amp should take over the whole system and put out at least 1000watts+ (3 amps. 1 for treble and highs, 1 for sub and lows,1 for mids)

2. the installation guide wasnt "CONVERTIBLE FRIENDLY". yep you heard me right the guide didnt tell me where to install the amp because convertables have a roll cage option that coupes dont. so what did i do with my amp? i literally just thrw it in there.. (switched it with where my hk amp was and it kinda fit)

3. after getting over the the amp problem (which was EXTREAMLY ANNOYING) i decided to connect my dice unit to my ipod and start jamming
welllllllll sad to say but the system only goes up to a loud yell at bestt and after that its just awkward distorted sounds.. its really embarrasing when youre showing off the system and they crank the volume and realize its not that loud even with the aftermarket system..

4. has anyone else had a backorder problem? lmfao this is a joke everyone does.. i had to wait 2+ MONTHS to get my system.. you read that right 2 MONTHS and everytime i ask its the same story. "Hey were working on your package as we speak!!!" .............. WHAT?????

if i had to do it over again, id take the (around) $900+ that i spend on it and get myself just STAGE 1, a used or w/e amp with like 1000W crossovers and a sub (or whatever the shop recommends) and have it done by a professionally
and still wouldnt mind spending another 500$ to get all that.

at least then i can crankkkk the volune.. sometimes u need to in a vert

still OVERALL im satisfied but its borderline satisfied
service was the best thats why so was the return method

I am thinking about getting the BSW Stage I Audio Upgrade for BMW 3 Series Sedan 99-05 (E46). I currently have the stock base (non-HK) system.

The system seems to be a bit expensive at $600. Do they ever offer discounts or open box?

What do people do with the speakers that get replaced, junk them?

Also, I am a bit confused on what the Stage II consists of. Would that change anything for someone who would only get the Audio Upgrade?

Any reviews on the BSW d110.e46s BMW Subwoofer System for 3 Series Sedan 99-05 (E46)? For $700?

I am thinking I would do the Stage I first to see how it sounds. If I am not satisfied with the bass output I would perhaps get the Subwoofer.

First off I would like to say thank you for purchasing from BSW and I apologize for he issues you had.

I actually use the ib108 in my 96 328iC and love the output and sound it puts out. The amplifier that comes with the system should put out at least 280W RMS(most are over 300W RMS) and that is actually overdriving the subwoofer to be 100% honest so with proper tuning it should sound great!

To my knowledge my lead install tech should have and was updating the installation guide for the ib108 so my guess is the ball was dropped on that. That is 100% our fault and I will address that so that no one else has an issue like this.

The Stage 1 does not add any actual volume to the system. It is still powered by the OEM amplifier for the interior drivers but if the subwoofer is tuned properly it can play at max volume. Now if the bass boost is on and the gain is cranked it it simply going to start clipping the amp and starting to distort the subwoofer.

Is the head unit OEM or do we have an aftermarket head unit?

We have backorders because the products are so popular. We place orders forecasting what we think the growth and new interest will be and many times forum post, roundel reviews or others drive up the sales volume and we cannot keep up. It is a good problem but also a bad problem. I don't want customers to wait as much as you don't want to have to wait for the products but it happens.

We are still, even though it doesn't appear so, a very small company. To give you an idea I handle all emails and 98% of the phone calls and also do the live chat, edit the install videos etc. We simply sometimes do not have the capital to always purchase as much as we want so we sometimes get backorders. We are working on that issue so that we can serve our customers better.

Most save the speakers if they even want to sell the car. Put stock back in and sell the Stage 1 on the forums used. They sell VERY fast. Unfortunately no open box or sales right now.

Stage 2 will be the amp, wires, crossovers etc. Everything needed to plug and play the amplifier upgrade.

e46fanatics has lots of reviews of course products on the forums over there. Bimmerforums seems to mostly have e36 members like myself.

Try out the Stage 1. We have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee so you can give it a listen and see what you think. You can always add the subwoofer later and it will compatible with our Stage 2 upgrade!

What is the ETA for Stage 2? And what does the amp upgrade get me over the stock amp? Thanks!
