I Just used lexol to clean my leather and then conditioned it, wiped dry and its nice squeaky clean and smooth. I really had to search for the conditioner though.....here's a tip autobarn didn't have it!! (only the lexol cleaner), but it's worth searchin' for.

I think you mean worn, you can use the lexol conditioner or if you can't find that use zymol, but try to clean them first (if theres no tares).....if you can spare the bucks it sounds like the car could use a pro detailing just to bring it around initially, then start to invest in your own products to maintain it.

I think you mean tears - sorry couldnt resist since you just corrected the other guy's spelling Back to another post though -- I wouldn't think you'd want to use all these leather conditioners, etc on vinyl?????? I mean, its PLASTIC really - its not an animal skin with absorption capability, etc......I'm not a materials expert but it just seems weird..... |

Visit the sponsor site, autogeek.net, and search for interior and vinyl = http://www.autogeek.net/rubbervinyl.html There are at least a dozen cleaners for vinyl. I'm sure you can then call or e-mail them for an educated opinion.

I picked up BMW Vinyl Care from the dealership for the vinyl seats...but then read on the bottle it says not use them on the seats? Does anyone still use it or should I just pick up a different product?
