    Jim Conforti Intake Filter Replacement

Looking to replace my JC60 ITG foam filter that comes with the Jim Conforti cold air intake. The lowest price I could find is about $80 or more with shipping and I know the foam filter probably does a better job of cleaning the engine's air with the trifoam technology. Has anyone found an alternative filter that resembles the ITG filter in size, that provides close performance, and is somewhat reasonably priced? Any experience of the filter replacement on the JC product would be helpful, thanks.

Dude I had the same filter, after the ITG filter deteriorated into pieces I just bought a Spectre Cone Air Filter $25.00 from the local auto part store its been on my intake for 4+years without issuse I clean it and hose it down every now and then
$80.00 for the ITG its just crazy
    Good luck with your choice

Yea I wouldn't go with the ITG again, I went with an AEM Dryflow I scored for about 37, I would never touch the ITG again

I've never had an issue with my ITG filter. It's still intact and washes out fine. What other issues are their with them?

I have the Conforti (not hooked up at the moment) with the ITG. My first filter decomposed after only a few washes. The decomposition was supposedly related to the NoToil cleaning solution (either a compatibility thing and/or mixing the solution too strong). My understanding is the filters are fine if you're careful with the cleaner I like the ITG, but I won't be using the NoToil stuff again at all.

My first ITG filter was destroyed during the first wash with No-Toil cleaner. The second filter lasted only two washes with a different cleaner. After that I gave up on foam filters and replaced it with an aFe cone filter. It was half the cost of the ITG and should last longer.

BOOM. Sick filter, will filter down to 1 micron, something like 99.4% efficiency, I run the same one on my Conforti.
    Oh and NO oiling needed

Which model/size AEM filter did you go with? I have the original 3" Jim Conforti set up right now.

Stock airbox with debaffle FTW. $10 filter every 10,000 miles, and I can probably go longer than that

I'd like to know, too... same setup. I'm on my second ITG filter, and it's starting to disintegrate.

First one came apart on the first wash with the No-Toil. Not doing that again.

Did the 21-203BF filter base overlap the carbon fiber intake pipe when you installed it?
