?? Z SC for 1.9 ???

Folowing SC for 1.9 ( http://www.z3power.com ) was mentioned on roadfly ( http://bimmer.roadfly.org/bmw/forums/z3/4663028-2.html )
What are your opinions on this? It's nice to have an alternative to Downing Atlanta, but is the bracket any good?

huh? ive never heard of that one before.
seems a little fishy...but not totally underingeineered. i guess it bolts to the bottom half of the stock intake manifold or something... i dont see a manifold there. kinda cool idea that the disa probably stays in and the throttle wouldn't need relocation.

anyone seen one of these kits?

I wouldn't want to purchase a supercharger kit for my BMW from someone that spells "picture gallery" as "picture galary"...I like the piece of cardboard too...

I have my doubts about the validity of this supercharger kit, and for that matter, if the whole thing is a scam or not. Seems like the 'introductory pricing' is a rolling date sort of thing......the cutoff date keeps moving.

With that said, since the guy is local to me, I emailed him asking if I could see the setup in person. I'll post back with his response/results.

That's odd, he states on his own page: "The kit has already been installed and tested on many automobiles, including my own BMW z3 roadster. " and "Feb 21- Have full photo documentation of 5 installs".

: Why does he need info for the AFR tuning when he is enjoying the kit on his own Z3?

I think it is a Z3 with a bra...

But why that inverted photo. It doesn't look like an Xray photo at all

yea it is a z with a bra....the site is definately behind schedule and i have yet to see any1 post here or on roadfly about the purchase, install, or power gains of this supercharger...they definately have potential for some HUGE sales if this is true...it just seems too good to actually be true but still lets hope that it is and that the power gains they claim are true as well...and it being reliable...o well thats a lot of if's but still hope its the real deal so i can buy one of these bad boys in the spring...also would nick g's stuff work with this superchargre just as well as the downing atlanta one...if this thing is real..just wondreng....we prob dont know since no1 actually has seen this system yet....anyway im rambling on like crazy...im goin 2 bed i have 2 exams tommorrow...lata
