hey guys. here is some pictures of the In Dash I just installed. Its the Pioneer 910NAV system. It has an in dash monitor that is touch screen and comes with a in dash dvd/cd player and a navigation system.
installation took about 2 hours for a neat job. I put the brains in the glove box for easy access. The navigation computer is in the glove box to. It all worked out nice suprisingly. Although, getting all the wires to fit in the back of the radio is the biggest challenge of all.
Sorry for the bad pictures. I'll try and take some during the day. Its snowing pretty hard here so it should be pretty bright tomorrow.

looks good. pretty clean install from what i can see.
did you lose radio reception after the install? i did with mine, and was told a radio reception booster should do the trick. i guess it goes in the a pillar or something?
i am not to sure, but do you know anything about that?

i havent run into a radio reception problem yet. Since the brain is in the glove box, this meant I somehow had to get the antenna wire over there. Luckily the radio adapter sold at best buy was long enough. It has a long metal tub on it and some blue wire that is supposed to amplify the radio signal but I never connected it because I was in a rush. So far I haven't run into a problem though. I'll try and take more pictures during the day. It might be a couple days, its snowing like crazy here.
hmm...my brain's in the trunk, so i doubt a radio adapter will reach all the way back there.
guess i'll just take it over to an audio shop and see what they recommend.
