Now, for the known issues:

It’s a perfectly driveable, mechanically sound car, but its exterior appearance is what I’d call, ‘a five footer’.

Up to five feet away, it looks fantastic. Only once you get close up can you see some wear on the paint.

1. There are a few minor, surface rust areas.
a. The rain gutters on either side have a couple small spots
b. The bottom corner of the door jambs have a small spot
c. a nick here or there, but very very minor

The sunroof will need to be replaced. A new one from BMW, primered, is ~$200. That's cheaper than trying to salvage one that has rust; just paint it and install. I also have a CF panel to use that came with the car, but it has no gasket installed currently.

2. clear coat wear on rear quarters
Its not worn off, but does show some wear.

3. rear bumper shows some oxidation

4. small nick and scratches here and there, but not bad for a 17 year old BMW.

I did pay to have a paintless dent repair service done.

I bought this car ~1.5 months ago, and have been working to improve several characteristics of it since.

I’ve decided to edit our ownership of cars.

I’ve spent several thousand dollars getting several items fixed, upgraded, and serviced. I can scan the most recent invoices for posting later today or this week. I have all the other paperwork Josh gave me, in addition to all of my receipts for services and mods, in a binder inside plastic sleeves that I can hand over to the new owner or prospective buyer for review. ~2” thick.

- Intake manifold ready to be painted or PCd
- CF sunroof panel

I’ve going to take a pretty big hit no matter how I slice it, but that’s the breaks.

Asking prince is $8000 for everything; car, spare seats, seat covers, wheels, etc.

I have the title in hand.

Hey Josh. Fantastic car, but this is a project I should not have started; just too many other things going on to stay on top of it. Heck, it’s pretty much perfect sans paint, but again, other projects to attend to.

I understand ten-fold Scott. I just became engaged this past week and I can already understand the load that comes along with it. My usual cars are put on the backburner for just a little bit. Bump for a great guy and a cool E30! I kinda miss it at times...

The car is at the shop now having the new dash installed, the AC work completed, and the brake fluid flushed. That’ll be the last bit of work completed, and I’ll feel better about selling it that way.
