ok.. i went to check out the one in norco.. its a done deal.. .. 5.99 /gallon 100 octane and unleaded at pump, just like brad stated.. but i think its only at one pump, not all pump had it.. its the pump right in the middle and has a RED top.

The Texaco station in "Woodland Hills" is wrong.

It's actually an Alliance Gas Station in Canoga Park.

They do have 101 octance at the pump. Price unknown.

I heard that with the higher octane all they do is add more stuff to it. And if your car isn't tuned for that specific grade of gas, that it could actually cause your gas mileage to go down and your performance. Can anyone confirm this?

the only way high octane gas will make a stock car faster is by lightening your wallet.

Alot...ALOT of cars ping on 91 California fuel. It is a good idea to add a gallon of this to any tank of gas to raise the MON a bit, but as far as a stock non-high compression or force induction motor it won't help.

It will not hurt your car if that's what your asking.

the one off vanowen was selling for around $6

there's another alliance station at woodley and sherman way selling trick 101 for $4.50 (a month ago). they are possibly the cheapest I've seen. if you're in van nuys during business you can hit up sawyer oil. you have a choice of 100 unleaded from a pump or the 105 (or 110) unleaded from drums.

Higher Octane = more additives to make it burn slower.

If you put 100octane in your tank Kim you wouldn't hurt the motor, but you wouldn't notice an increase in performance. For a Non-FI BMW there is no point to running increased octane.

and some of those places stoped carrying 100 and some phone numbers don't work.
