2007 X5... Is this it?

New to this forum... I have unmasked pictures of what I believe is the new X5. I need help in posting pictures or links. It seems I need special permissions to do so. Please help.

If this is similar to the real '07, then sweetness. The rear view isn't surprisingly bangle-ized.

The wheels & tires that appear in this photo seem to be the same that come with the current 4.8is... 20x9.5 front, 20x10.5 rear w/275/40R-20 front & 315/35R-20 rear tires. Very cool looking!

"The BMW E70 The BMW E70 automobile platformwill be the basis for the future X5 SUV. It will replace the BMW E53. The E70 will bring new engines to the X5 lineup. BMW will begin a shift of replacing engines from the 2006 7-Series. It is likely the E70 will inherit those same powertrains.
Gasoline models will include:

• X5 3.0i 3.0 L 255 hp (190.2 kW) inline-6
• X5 4.0i 4.0 L 275 hp (205.1 kW) V8
• X5 5.0i 5.0 L 355 hp (264.7 kW) V8
• X5 5.4is 5.4 L 420 hp (313.2 kW) V8

Transmission choices will likely remain like those today: 5-speed manual and 6-speed Steptronic. It is possible for BMW to implement their 6-speed SMG system into the V8-powered models. Also, this generation's xDrive AWD system will continue largely unchanged into the E70. Rumors also floating around is that the BMW 7-Series Electronic Shifter will be used in the E70 to rivial the 2006 Mercedes-Benz M-Class' shifter."

the 2nd set looks more convincing as the production version. i like the rears of the 1st set though, but the front of the 1st set is not that nice. headlights remind me of acuras.

the headlights seem very much like the new 3 series, there is a hint of the same 3 series influence on the tail lights too

AutoLies is garbage...don't buy into it...that's not it. Look at that first AutoLies pic, and then look at the second...they aren't even the same wheels

I read that the new X5 will have 3 rows of seats. These 2 pics don't show that there would be enough space for another row.

I'm happy to say that I have info, from a good source that the x5 will remain the same size. There is an x7 coming out that will be larger and accomadate 3rd row seating. It made my day, as I still want the sporting character , handleing and performance of a smaller vehicle.

Don't buy into any of the pictures posted. The front of the car in all those pictures are way off. The back of the second set it getting closer to what it looks like. I have see the new X5 in person and it is sweet.
