Here is the infor on the kick panels
Designed 5 1/4" components but will accept 6 1/2".
Each speaker is located and angled to maximize sound quality. The theory is that the distance between your ears and each of the speakers should be equal. With your speakers in the kick panels, it's like sitting in that "sweet spot" at a concert or right between your home speakers.

PS Yeah, that is my car on DTM
is the water pump used or new. will it work on a 95 M3 ?
Used ~2000 miles It came off my 1995 M3 engine so yes it will fit.Originally Posted by cast

What's up with the Raceware studs? did you switch to ARP...I thought you preferred the Racewares??
Are these new or used? As you know, ARP NEW are $139!
If they're new, I might be interested.
Remind me...do these need a re-torque...or...one time torque like the ARP's?
How close are you and Steve on the blower???

Would the headers hook straight up to the stock cats? What were your gains?
U MAD?
Had Pete McHenry build me a new engine. For the power I plan to run, he recomended larger/thicker studs. He drilled and tapped the block for 7/16" studs. Since the Raceware studs are 10mm I have no need for them. I do like Raceware better, but Pete uses ARP and Raceware does not make 7/16" as far as I know.Originally Posted by buldogge
All studs need re-torqued. I already re-torqued my ARP's.

The headers will hook up to the stock exhaust. The only mod will be to cut the stock pipes so the headers slip on. Perfect fit. An exhaust shop could do it for no more then $50. I paid $50 to get it done.Originally Posted by LWRNCE
You will see 15-20 HP with the headers alone. If you gut the cats you will see 25+ HP easy. I am making ~220 rwhp with a 8.6:1 CR engine using these headers and without cats, for refrence a stock 3.2L makes ~195 rwhp. If you buy my already modified gutted cat section (keep yours for back up), you can bolt on yourself in under about an hour or so.
Let me know

I assume you mean they are used then?

The Raceware studs were on my previous engine. They are not new. But these are studs not streach bolts. They can be used over and over again. I am asking for 1/2 of what they cost new.Originally Posted by buldogge

Borla Stainless Steel Exhaust with twin round tips - $350
Any pics, and how much to ship to Chicago?
Need to take pics.Originally Posted by Nimble
However looks just like the standard Borla unit.

Mine has the twin round intercooled tips
In all honesty I do not want to sell this exhaust. It is extreamly light and in my opinion sounds better then any other E36 exhaust. Nice mellow throaty sound. The only reason I need to sell is that my new full Euro exhaust has much larger diameter piping and it will not fit with the Borla or any other US exhaust for that matter.
Bellow are some general pics.
The 1st pic is the Boral on the M3, you can see waht the actual can/muffler looks like. Take note that the unit I am selling has the twin intercooled tips as in the 2nd pic. It is these tips that give it that awesome mellow throaty sound that Borla is known for.
How many miles on the exhaust?
Do you have pics of the GT3's?

I thought that the Borla with the intercooled tips was the older version. The pic of the one on your car is the $529 one that Turner corrently sells, right?Originally Posted by Bad Bimr
Yes, mine is the older version with the intercooled tips and yes the pics are from the turner site.Originally Posted by Nimble
My Borla is the exact same as the one in the pics, except it has the intercooled tips. When Borla redesigned the exhaust (~2 years ago) all they did was install diferent tips. If you want you could easily install different tips,

PS The OLD OLD Borla's had square intercooled tips.
What's the deal with the Vanos controller i've never heard of this before. And also would those Racewear head studs give me more power by raising the compression? I'm planning on doing Turner Motor Sports pakage deal with the HFM cams injectors etc, so would those studs help?

The studs will not give you HP. All the studs will do is make sure if you do run more compression or use a SC/turbo that the head does not lift. If you open up the engine studs are a chep insurance policy.
