I've been told that Redline f*cks the syncs up.
You can't believe everything you've been told...check your owner's manual or a Bentley and you'll find ATF specified...the brand is your choice, and many choose Redline ATFD4 or Mobil 1 ATF...Originally Posted by NoName

This guy is dick shine from shine racing and he's seen many trannys get f*cked because of redline.
Thanks for the replys.
Dick Shine is very highly regarded in VW circles, but BMW built the trannys and recommends ATF...you don't have to use Redline, you can use Mobil 1, Amsoil, etc, or buy it from the dealer, or never change it...Originally Posted by NoName
If you do a search, you'll find there are other alternatives...everyone has an opinion on this subject...
I have personnally used Redline ATFD4 for two years with no problems...I've recently switched to Redline MTL to help quell LTW flywheel "chatter."
