    1998 540i, 6MT, Black/black, 116.5k miles, $9000

Here's some basic info about the car:

    -116.5k~ Miles
    -Great condition
    -Black ext.
    -Black int.
    -CWP

    Mods:

    Maintenance:
-New brakes (OEM Rotors and Pads) installed at BMW of Austin 10/4/08
-Oil changed (Mobil 1, 15W50) at BMW of Austin (Recently, have to check records for exact date.)
    -New CPS installed 8/11/09
(Will post more up to date maintenance info this week)

This car has been a joy to own and has never left me stranded. Never beat on, and only driven spiritedly after warming up properly.

    -3 Owners (I'm the third)
    -No accidents

The first owner bought the car new and kept it until sometime in 2006. He sold the car to the second owner whom kept it until the end of 2007 and then sold it to me. He was enlisted in the Army and was sent to Iraq sometime mid 2007. His wife had no use for the car and ended up selling it. I've had the car since late 2007 and have put around 10,000 miles on it. It has been very reliable and is in very good shape considering it has 116.5k miles.

    Maintenance:
I have a folder FULL of records. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding maintenance and I will give you the answer.
Lots of people have asked about the cooling system and VCGs:
-Cooling system: The radiator, tank, and sensor were replaced 1/20/05.
-The water pump and thermostat were replaced 5/16/03.
-The valve cover gaskets were replaced 4/20/05 and more recently on 10/26/07.

The car will be detailed prior to sale, and I will try to have more recent pics up within the week. (Note: The BBS RSIIs seen in the pictures below are not included in the price of the car. I have them for sale separately, but will consider including them with the car depending on the price. As of now, the stock wheels remain on the car with relatively new Hankook V12s.)

    Price: $9000

This picture is a little blurry, sorry. There is a slight tear in the leather near the handle as you can see and a little nick on the bottom left.

I'd want to buy this, swap parts from mine to it, then sell mine.
I'll have to first find a Salmon P. Chase by chance.

Let me know if you're interested!

I've heard those bills are a little tough to come by.

I don't have the folder of maintenance records in front of me, but, to my knowledge, neither has needed replacement. No mechanical rattles or noises whatsoever.

I recently had the car realigned at an indy shop here in Austin called Paul's Motorwerks and was told that everything else is in good shape, if that is of any consolation to you.

If you have the M62 engine they need to be replaced or
the next owner will fork out over 2k if the rails and
guides fail. BMW recommend this work.

I'm open to having a PPI done by a potential buyer. If they need to be replaced sometime soon, the needed work will definitely be reflected through a drop in the price of the car.
