The car is located about 20 minutes north of Pittsburgh, PA. All maintenance and recalls are up to date, PA state inspection was just done and is good through 2/2013. I'm a level 1 Service Advisor and Dinan Performance Specialist at a local BMW dealer, and as expected the car has been maintained properly and detailed regularly. It has been well taken care of and has absolutely no issues. This car has almost every option available including navigation, iPod interface, premium, cold weather, and M sport packages. I installed the BMW Performance Black shadowline kidney grills to match the rest of the trim which made the front end look much more aggressive. They will be included with the car. It also has Dinan Stage 2 Software (retailed for over $2000) that makes 378 hp/416 lb-ft. of tq.. And yes, before anyone asks the factory warranty is still fully intact with the software. It's the only software you can get in the US that will not cause issues with BMW's factory warranty. Dinan is one of only two companies in the world, and the only one in the U.S. that BMW actually shares technical data with. Because of this, Dinan's software is the safest and most reliable software available on the market. I can have any BMW, BMW performance, or Dinan accessories installed at heavily discounted prices if desired. Just another great way that you can save more money! This car IS faster than the current M3 for only a fraction of the cost! It has the twin turbo N54 engine, one of the last month's of production until the switch to the less desireable single turbo N55 was made. The single turbo N55 does not have anywhere near the tuning capability of the Twin Turbo N54. To be honest this car is a rocket ship and frankly can scrare me at times, the torque and smoothness of this engine is just amazing.


The dealer I work at will do all the necessary paperwork to complete the sale and transfer the title. That way both parties are covered and there are no issues with the paperwork or payment end of things.

I think it is a great car and if this post is innappropriate in any way , please delete.. but just a fellow word of advice from someone who has bought and sold lots of modded cars. Best case scenario someone chooses your car because of the Dinan software, at fair market value, worst case scenario - someone won't even want your car, because to them a car that has been "chipped" if you will, is a car that has been driven hard.
But under no circumstances have i ever seen someone pay one dime extra because a car had a software upgrade...
The idea of "recouping" that cost, is not something that is going to happen unless a very young and innexperienced buyer wants your car, and makes a rash emotional decision. I love the car, and i see that it would make an excellent DD. But I wouldn't hand over a dime to help someone recoup software costs. If can get your mind around wanting that, and realize it's just a loss that's part of modding a car. I bet you will sell very quickly..

Why not? There haven't been any problems with Dinan's software causing issues and the software has been available since 2007. I have client's that have driven over 70,000 hard miles in that time frame and haven't had any issues whatsoever even when tracking the car. That's why you are paying more for Dinan products, because it's the best possible quality. You have one post and your username is S2KDude so I doubt you are really qualified to make any statement about anything BMW, especially on this level. Please go troll in someone else's thread or keep your uneducated opinion to yourself.

It usually takes 1-2 weeks to get the title once the payment to BMWFS has been cleared. So ultimately, the form of payment to BMWFS is the determining factor is how long it takes. Some cashiers checks can take up to 10 business days to clear. So in that scenario, it could be 3-4 weeks. We can do the deal through my dealers finance department so there's no worries about the transaction.

Seems like a decent deal to me. First time poster but have been doing my homework. This isn't like a "chipped" Mustang people. At least around Tulsa, the dealership is the only licensed dealer for Dinan products, and it does not void the warranty. If it was any other brand name aftermarket parts, I would think twice, but not with Dinan.

BTW, just ran NADA, KBB, and Edmunds with accurate mileage and condition and the numbers for private party retail were as follows...

NADA = $33,650
KBB = $32,597
Edmunds = $32,886

That is a stock car without $2,000 worth of upgrades (Dinan stg. II and BMW Performance black kidney grille's). Lowered asking price to reflect mileage increase, open to fair offers but I'm already taking a small hit at this price.
