    INPA/NCS Expert working with E9x

Anyone have a working INPA & NCS Expert version with E9x cars?
Is there a link for download anywhere?

+1 want to know how it can be done for e90s
I've kind of gave up on Progman for my 05/2009 e90. It will not read the car info properly and CKM is disabled for some odd reason. I think NCS Expert will definitely work if you have the correct daten files. It's also much more dangerous though.

Get NCS Expert 3.1.0 and the latest daten files. Then load "E89" as the chasis. Not sure what the year limit is, but I think Progman v38 should allow you to work at least until the 2010 models.

Can you tell us where we can find the latest daten files? I want to use NCS-Expert with e87 08/2007 but i have only old daten files. NCS-Epert don't connect.

    Hi guys,
I have the latest versions of daten files. These are from ISTA 34 which should cover upto 2010. I will upload them once I get home.

I only need E81/E82/E87/E88 and sdt777 need E9x. So it would be enough if you upload E81/E82/E87/E88 and E9x?

If you could do this it'd be greatly appreciated. I've been looking for e90 files for a while now with no luck. Thanks in advance!

If the v34s go to 2010, what do the v38s that I've got go up to? I always assumed v38 was for MY2010

You maybe right, I'm new to this stuff. A friend of mine has 2011 e90, I will try the daten on it and report.

Let me know. It's a stupid reason, but one of the things preventing me from ordering a new 335i coupe is the inability to do any coding on it :P

My information will not help you since e90 LCI came out in 2009. e92 LCI started in 2011 and my friend has a e90 sedan.

Thank you! Can you also post (if they exist) the files in the Daten folder that have .000 as the extenion? I am looking for the R56 ones in particular. Not sure if I really need them though.

To work on an E9x Series car you must have the proper daten files for the E89. You must use the E89 chasis ONLY.

I have been able to code cars up to 2011, you just need to do a small modification to your INPA cable.

Nope don't need them! But I wasn't able to read many modules in my R56. About six of them, NCS was able to see a few that I wasn't able to read like the DSC (not that I want to change anything there) and the HAMP.

This seems to be the case for multiple chasis. I think this because we're having to resort to the dealer tools for the daten files. If we had access to the files that BMW uses internally, I bet we'd be able to do more.

And also, when the module would not read, I would still get a trace file! But it was a huge 112KB file that seems to have EVERYTHING in it. But maybe that is the ZCS file? Because I changed my CC_GURTWARNING (hoping that will get rid of the chime, but after seeing another post there is/could be a different one for AKUSTIK GURT...), to Nicht_acktiv and when I read the airbag computer it does show that, but this big "generic" trace shows it as Active still.

I think the big file shows the default options. I've also had situations where the huge file didn't match the file I got after reading a module directly

Interesting! The sum (in KB) of all of the modules I can read is not even close (like 32KB) to the 112KB "default" file I get. I wonder if this file is coming from the ZCS as described in the NCS Dummy post.

Use the v38 SPDATEN files from ISTA/P v2.38.0.0
Copy the R56 files to your NCS folder. Use NCSEXPER v3.1.0.
