I'm not. I love E36 M's and E36s period, considering I used to own an E36 and an E30. I'm just simply not going to waste my time getting technical about it in a forum that's chock-full of info about it. Nor do I need to raise my pom-poms about it, considering the environment. As a matter of fact, I found this forum originally while looking for a used E36 M. I ended up with a new car instead, Nissan it may be.
I stick around, because it's pretty entertaining what the fanboys in here can come up with, in their relentless pursuit of BMW elite-ness. It's also nice reading about the accomplishments of those who aren't inclined to embellish. At the same time, I like playing Devil's Advocate against the extreme fanboys or the ones that end up listening only to these fanboys' "facts." Below's a good quote from Ben Treynor (link), who is a member on a few other forums I frequent. I'm not sure, but I think he might be a member here as well, considering he used to own a turbo M3.
