Yes that was a mistype. It was supposed to be 350 ft-lb. All the major magazines (car&driver, motortrend) and major car sites like edmunds has the 2001+ corvette's listed at 360ft-lb. The only place i've seen with 375 is the site you have provided. I wonder how they got this extra torque.
I dont know much about corvettes beside that they are bad ass, so i could be wrong. Last edited by HarcoM5; 11-04-2009 at 01:05 PM.. |

http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/Sp...=92759#trimsel I've seen it listed in many places. No big deal I wouldn't expect people that don't follow the LSx series to know that they went with the LS6 intake, different cam, more effecient cats, etc in 01+ models. http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/.../2001over.html This has a good overview of changes. I believe they are limiting the torque output via Torque Management (tuning) on the automatics... I know removing TM from LSx based vehicles makes very large improvements. Nothing against you at all...I just spend all my time focusing on what I know and you focus on what you know. ![]()

Skipping all the debates here, those races were SPOT-ON accounting for road speed/gearing and driver mod. Very closely matched cars.
