Recommend a BMW mechanic in San Fernado Valley, California

Hello everyone,

Just bought my first BMW and looking to establish a long-term relationship with a descent, knowledgeable BMW mechanic (non-dealer) in the San Fernando Valley, CA. If you can write a few lines about your reasons for doing business with them I would greatly appreciate it.

This is the wrong section to post up an inquiry such as this. Try posting in the correct regional section of the forum(probably California) and you will have much better luck getting answers! If you run a search you may find that your question has already been answered there. Good luck!

I have been taking my car to the M Shop (its in Eagle Rock not Pasadena) for about 4 years. Very honest and professional, highly recommended.

If you're willing to head into the SGV, then I would say European Motorwerks. If you really need to stay local in the SFV, then maybe Barthel Motorworks. The owners name is Bruce.

You really should go talk to Bruce Barthel at Barthel Motor Worke in Chatsworth. On Devonshire near owensmouth. He's very experienced, only does BMW, not too expensive. Highly recommended.

Also: Marc at Bavarian Workshop in thousand oaks has a nice shop.

good luck.

RC.
