New Member and First Time BMW Owner
I wanted to say hello, I'm new to the forums and BMW. I've always been a German car driver, Porsche, Mercedes/AMG, Audi, VW. I figured it's time for a BMW. I'm trading a slightly modified 2008 A3 3.2Q for a new 2010 135i with the following options:
+Black Sapphire/Black Interior + Manual Transmission + M-Sport Package + Glacier Aluminum Trim + Power Front Seats + Cold Weather Package + BMW Assist/Bluetooth + iPod/USB Adapter + Performance Exhaust System + Performance Short Shift Kit I originally wanted to order a car specific to my needs but this car was close enough, plus waiting 8 weeks would have put my delivery right in snow season. I considered waiting to see if the Golf R is coming to the states but I'm not that patient, I pick the car up in Columbus Ohio in 9 days and will be driving home to Chicago that afternoon, I figure it'll be a good start to the break-in. I hope to learn a great deal from the collective knowledge on the forum, hopefully I'll be able to add something useful as well. One of the first things I'll be looking for is winter tires/wheels, I'm used to Dunlop M3's and Goodyear UltraGrip Performance winter tires...any good suggestions also who do you guys buy wheels from? I usually buy my winter wheels for the Tire Rack, and again would like any suggestions. Glad to be here now I must wait Last edited by ESC OFF; 10-21-2009 at 07:56 PM..

congrats ESC!!! I too am a first time BMW owner. I got a 128. You're going to absolutely LOVE the 135 though. I smell a meet and greet somewhere as soon as the snowy weather breaks. That's a good drive.
 Who's up for tail of the dragon??Anyway ESC, post some pics! like i should talk, but i swear they're coming soon!! hahaha.
