I was doing a pull from the bottom of 4th. I brought her all the way up to top of 4th redlining and went to bang 5th gear as hard as I could but banged 3rd instead. Corrected it has fast as I could but it was already too late.

And i always wondered how people could blow their motors money shifting.

I know that feeling...happened to my old E36 as well. I was quite sad....until I finished the S52 swap. You definitely did it right OP
