Z3 (E36/7, E36/8) (1996 - 2002) In 1996 BMW added the Z3 to the lineup. First available only with the 1.9 liter engine, the Z3 went on to carry every 6 cylinder produced between 1996 and 2002. A fun, sporty little 2 seater came both in convertible and coupe form. Being a bit of a “parts bin” car, the Z3 is part E30, part E36, but all original.

OT, my 09 Yaris compared to a new 82 Camaro.. lol

The Yaris:
http://www.mpt.org/motorweek/reviews/rt2825b.shtml

"..Our Yaris huffed from 0 to 60 in a long 9.7 seconds. And the quarter-mile took 17.5 seconds at a mere 80 miles-per-hour. But then this car is not about getting from points A to B in a hurry...just cheaply..."

The Bitchen Camero:

http://www.thirdgen.org/1982camaroz28-mt-january1982

"0-60 - 9.42, 1/4 17.3 @ 80mph"..

Too funny..

One night after work me and my friend with a 94 v6 camaro raced...in my 21 year old jeep and it was dead even .

after being used to the type of accelleration in my M then going full throttle in the jeep was hilarous. I laughed for the whole 10+ seconds it took me to get to 60

Yeah, the Camaro had come a long way since 1982. In 2002 the LS1 version was running neck to neck with the S54 M coupe........The LS1 is an incredible engine.......I absolutely love the look of the latest retro version..........

My dad bought an 82 Z28 new in 82, black with gold wheels. It was pretty sharp, and he really babied that car. I'd love to pick one up someday and drop an LS/T56 combo into it.
