8 Series (E31) (1991 - 1997) As the last E24 rolled off the production line in 1989, its replacement was quick on its heels to fulfill the fantasies of those looking for a touring coupe with all of the luxury, performance, and prestige of a BMW, only now with both 8 and 12 cylinder engines.

Pretty sure they are indeed 17s...a rare aftermarket Ronal Wheel made back in the 90s, IIRC. (Ronal also makes most ACS wheels)

The real question is, how did you pop the lights without actually having them on...??

It's true, the lights were on in the pics (gotta love the HIDs). But you actually can pop up the lights without the car being on: simply flick the headlight on/off switch six times quickly in succession and the buckets will stay up. Yes, you can pull the key out of the ignition afterwards, too, and they'll stay up!

The 8 is full of weird things it can do that perhaps most owners don't know about.

Cheers

I got it from EAS but I don't see it up on their site anymore: http://www.europeanautosource.com/index.php
