What were the production numbers on the '95 318Ti Clubsports? I know they were pretty rare, but just how rare?
I looked at two of them here in clearwater about a year ago before I bought my 325 ...they had the stiffer suspension and M-badged ground effects...correct? Both of them were beat up pretty bad...one guy asking 6000.00 and the other 5500. Not sure how many were made though.....

1998 Suzuki Bandit 1200 Streetfighter - 120 hp
1992 Ninja ZX600C</font>
hojo i cant remember but i think there werent more than 3,000... that is if i remember correctly. I kow that the club sport was only made in 1995 ... it has black leather seats with grey cloth that has traingles all over it.
The ones with millpoint are not club sports they have the Msport interior package...
i know that you know that hojo, i am just saying so others will finally loose the consfusion that they have a1996 or 1997 clubsport.
Funny factoid. the cubsport and the california top TIs are genuine M ... handled by the motorsport division of bmw.
remember that i could be wrong somewhere on this post... let me know if i am.

I believe ~325 were made. They look very similar to the 96-99 318ti Sport, except they came standard with M3 mirrors. Most of them were jet black, while the others, like mine were helrot. And from what I've heard, only 3 were produced without a sunroof.
anyone know how rare a 1998 Alpine white ti sport without sunroof is. I heard there were only about 200 ti's sent over in 98 which were all sport models but never was able to find a really reliable source on how many and which options they had.
There are +/- 300 clubsports made through BMW Individual. Authentic clubsports were only produced in 10/95, so anything after was just a 'sport' model. Only available in hellrot or swartz, the clubsport featured 16" wheels and tires, M-technic body panels, mirrors and suspension, and a special interior trim package(red millpoint). 96, 97 and 98 offered the sport with Mtech exterior and sport seats(red millpoint, grey millpoint, or black cloth) and 99 had the least amount of Ti's produced, which totalled either 600 or 800. All the 99's were sport models.
Yes its true only 3 clubsports came without sunroofs, one of which is now mine

dude thats sweet you got one.
there is a 99ti here in town with the black/grey millpoint mtech interior and i wish i could get another ti but...i dont like the airbags in the door panel. and my ride is almost exactly the same except that i have the california top and mine doesnt have rear headrests. i already found a set of Mtech black/grey millpoint front and rear door panels and the front sport seats. now all i am missing is the millpoint rear seat . damn
anyone got a pic of the clubsport interior ... i remember there being lots of triangular grey pieces in the cloth insert. i dont think the clubsports came with the Mtech seats but their own specific two toned seats.

Jonathon- gotta love those silver ti's. It looks fantastic and I normally hate silver. Alas my 96 Cali edition is in no need of replacement (or a sibling).
I now have 16" round spokes but here's a pic from last summer. I now need Sand Gray leather door panels to go with the seats I found. Anyone got some?

I love the silver, and it pains me to get rid of the one I have now because I am really attached to it...even with the M44! but the one I just picked up is red, so its a big change for me. I almost bought another silver 97 for a particular reason(cough s52 cough) but to switch my interior over and misc parts would have been too time consuming and costly by the time I got both cars in the same city so I went with the clubsport.
As for the door panels, just check junkyards and watch ebay for wrecked Ti's. You might get lucky. Other than that I dont know where you could get them since obviously im a red millpoint whore

God I love ti's. My brother has a 96 sport model with grey millpoint interior. I dont know why but I actually have more fun driving that than my m3

300 Club sport models made. I have one of them. Production date is 10/95 and they didn't make it to the US until fall of 1996 at which time the dealer marked up the price from $5K-$10K dollars. The were very limited and only a few dealerships got them in BMW

you know... thats not the club sport interior that i rememeber. that is the red Mtech 1996 M-sport interior made of black leather/red millpoint. i have the grey versions of those seats and panels. in europe they made blue cloth , in cananda they have black. the clubsport interior is very rare, like i said two times before. it is a black leather, dark grey cloth with triangular shape pattern.

I have a 9/95 club sport, hellrot. We should do a Club Sport roll call sometime.
Coleco, I have a clubsport prod date 10/95 with window sticker. My interior is red and black (or it was until i swapped to leather)
huh... hey i guess i am wrong.
well thats cool. id still like to see a pic of that triangular fabric seat that i believe also came in the clubsport models.
I guess its a shame that they kept making the red millpoint seats even after the clubsport(probably causes confusion).
HOJO id love to take a look for sure.

I love the red millpoint but I'm still not sure on how it would look with alpine white. The gray millpoint looks great with the white but the red is so tempting. Anyone ever seen a white ti with red millpoint.
not a good combo imho. I have club sport door pannels and quarters if ne1 needs
Sorry I am replying to such an old thread, but I thought it was important for future research. I have done a collection of Club Sport serial numbers over at 318ti.org and I found that they are basically in the range of AM534xx to 6xx (the sample range is from AM53492 to AM53695).
318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=3007
The review of the Club Sport from the June 1996 issue of Car and Driver states that there were 200 made, and the serial numbers collected so far certainly support that estimate. If more than 200 were made it would be highly unlikely that more than 300 were made based on the sample of serial numbers. Please see my (tastade) Gallery on 318ti.org if you want to read this review.
AM53701 here. Wonder if I have the last one ever made.
P.S. just verified I'm not, see below.

AM53460 to AM53731 is the production range. That's 271 units "on the books". I've heard that there were a few special orders that were produced in early Novemeber, but I haven't been able to verify any VIN #'s to back that up.
