1982 Alpina C1 2.3 FS

A true survivor! This rare Alpina has only 59k miles on it and is in excellent condition. Alpine white with full Alpina cloth interior and all of the goodies on it. Factory a/c, sunroof, power windows, and pop out rear windows. It also has the double deco set which has the silver background and gold trim. Unfortunately it has an automatic, but for a nominal fee I can have it swapped to a manual. The car is tight and fun to drive. It has had some paintwork, but no visual body panel replacement. Not a show piece, but it wouldn't take much to get it there. No one knows how many C1s were built, but speculation is that there were very few ever built. A rare machine. The car is located in Huntington Beach, Ca. Here is some eye candy: Price is $15,500 obo.

Am I the only one that thinks that car looks goofy?

Not nearly as goofy as your poor dog squished between the seat.

The odometer says 94k not 54k as the post suggests. The car looks like my old 320i in the rear but the front looks like an e30.

It's a euro car. The odometer is in kilometers. Multiply by.62. It's an E30. First year of E30 production in Europe. By the way, the rear clip looks nothing like an E21.

Yes, you are. I think it looks amazing and is priced well for what is practicall a 'one off'.

i've owned several alpinas, and the pedigree of this car is unquestionable and appears to be in outstanding condition. however, a c1-2.3 won't win any speed contests, and certainly not with that slushbox trans! i'd recommend a manual conversion to justify that price, or i'd predict birthdays for sale, despite its scarcity, imho!
