I'm not digging it like the new 3 series verts. Those tails look like crap too.

the back is still masked a little bit, I'm sure it'll look better.

I'm sure it will look better when it's released, but I still don't love the look in general. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it just doesn't look "classy" like a BMW convertible should in my opinion. On the other hand, I feel the new 3-series vert looks amazing.

    It's a hard top too!

:edit: I should add that I like the 1 series coupes and plan to buy a 135is when I graduate college in 4 years. I also somewhat dislike the 3-series coupes and sedans... I would still drive one, but I don't drool over the body style like I did with the e36, e46, e31, and e38.

Very bland. Miata' look sharper and more appealing. Even though the back end is masked a bit as noted, the back end needs alot more work. ug. This is BMW"s historical pinnacle. Well, we'll see.

Cyrix2k I think that the 1series convert will look amazing when finished. Actually i think it'll look far better than the 3 series, did you look at the 3series from the side? It looks like a solara man...
