I just noticed my 92 e36 325i was leaking a little transmission fluid. after looking around the engine bay i could not find the transmission dipstick. i noticed there isn't one. how do i check my transmission fluid, how do i add more fluid. It's an auto by the way, if that makes any difference. It's the M50 engine, i just got this car and am still getting very used to it. also what do you think may be causing it to leak? thanks

If you can't be good, be good at it...
There isn't one.

You don't.
Full flush and new fluid.

You'll need to jack it up level and pull the plug on the pan. If you're going to go thru all that just change the fluid and filter while you are there.
Pick up a Bentley manual and it explains it all.
Why anyone would design something this way is beyond me. Dumb shi* engineers.
Just an FYI some new BMW thats coming out won't let you check the oil cause theres no dipstick. You need to drain it and measure it. What a joke.
