They are staggered Double Spoke II rims from a 98 M3. The tires are 235/40/17 in the front and 245/45/18 in the rear which are the stock tire sizes for a E36 M3. Does anyone know if they will fit on my friends E30 M3 or will the rear need different size tires?
Thanks
Chris
Not too sure if they'll fit an e30, but I'm pretty sure both rims are 17', since e36's weren't available with 18 inch size wheels, only wider 17' ones in the rear.
17 x 7.5 front -17 x 8.5 rear to be exact.

I believe that only the front wheels will fit on an E30

I would not reccomend running staggered wheels on an E30 M3, just for the performance reasons. It causes quite a bit of unwanted understeer.
Yup, they will fit a E30 with spacers. 15mm all round. You may need to play with the offset in the rear depeding on what suspension you are running.
Get ready for a show truck, cuz you are going to become a PLOW!
But some seam not to care, looks over fuction, not somehiting for us track guys.

They'll fit with 15mm spacers. That set-up was on my car when I bought it, replaced them with 16" RK's. The staggered wheels are for sale.

Why the understeer, not enough power?
There can be only one.

Pencil on paper says my old E36 M3 LTW staggered rims should fit for last minute need to mount up some rain tires for weekend race.
But it’s nice to see in the real world it will work as predicted.
Incidentally, the LTW came with square tires on the staggered rims, likely to tune out some under steer. No reason this wouldn’t work as well on E30.
Stock 1995 LWT staggered set up was 235/40-17 all around on F 7.5”X17 ET41 / R 8.5”X17 ET41
Stock 1995M3 square 245/40-17 on F/R 7.5”X17 ET41
