Hi, so i have a E34 Touring that i bought a while back and not to go much in depth the previous owners where not the best mechanics and did a lot of questionable stuff to it. One of those things was cutting completely the break pad wear sensor connector on the car side. So now i want to get it working and i donīt know what connector to get, everything i found was some threads on the E36 forum but it does't seem to be the same, at least from the E34 sensor connector it seems different. Does anyone know what parts should i get to rebuild the harness on the car side?
On my E32 I had the old brake pad wear sensor connector/plug on the car side broken and searched a long time for such a plug. I did not find a new one and took one from a parts car and soldered the wires. For newer models there are repair kits, but they look different. Most of these repair kits are made by SenCom in Germany, check on their website if they have the correct repair kit for your E34 or contact them https://sencom-connectors.myshopify.com/en check in section Steckergehäuse - Connectors
