Los Angeles Mechanic Referral Needed

Hey all,

I have a 96 M3. My old mechanic retired a few years ago and I've used 3-4 mechanics since. All of them have been dicey. Curious who people recommend in the LA area.

Not exactly in the LA area but I’ve used E39 Source down in Escondido a few times and they’ve been great on my 01 E38. Ryan and his team are very knowledgeable on the platforms of that era and take special attention to detail when servicing the cars that roll through there. For a shop closer to LA, I’ve also heard good things about Avus Autosport and The M Shop but haven’t personally been to either.

good to know. I had a horrible experience with Hi Tech Auto on Lincoln. He told me my car was a piece of junk and should be taken to the junk yard because it needed new shocks and upper control arms.

Did you find anyone good?
