1994 325i transmission

Hello my 325i has a GM 4L30-E Transmission in it with a bad speed sensor which is no longer available through BMW. Can I use a GM Duralast one that i found on auto zone SU1274 thanks for the help

Isn't that the sensor in the diff?

thanks Ross1 the bmw number for the part is 24 15 1219 659 bmw has it listed as a speed sensor or a pulse generator auto zone has it listed incorrectly when you search speed sensor they show the differential sensor ill get a genuine gm part-as you suggested- i just wanted to make sure it will work in that transmission regardless of the vehicle it is in the gm 4l30-e was used in many vehicles thanks again for your help

Good afternoon! Were you able to find a part to work? I’m running into the same issue. Can’t find this sensor anywhere. I appreciate your help.
