    Power Seat to Power-Heated Seat

    Hi gents,

I wonder if the following is possible. I am rebuilding my Dad's 1995 325i. We bought it for himself when he was 50 yrs old and we sold it back to dealer
after he passed away. I found it this past June and imported it to Canada. The interior has to be gutted and rebuilt, but I found an amazing donor e36
    vehicle for the project.

However, my Dad's car has power seats (still working) and the donor car has mint condition heated seats that are manual. Could I not just swap the fabric/heating
elements from one frame and install them on the other frame. I could even take the wiring from the donor car for the heated seats and install it properly
as I will be completely stripping the car.

    Comments/suggestions?

    Paul

Leather, pads and elements will swap right over. I do it all the time to make 1 good set of front seats.

    Yup.
Easiest thing is to cut out the hog rings and use zip ties to put it all back together. I started doing this about 3 yrs ago. Daily leather is still tight!
