Anyone have any experience with these? I found some cheap and local from a 530i not sure yet if they'll fit my 540i. Any real point of getting camber plates? Thanks in advance

If they fit a 530 they'll fit a 540. I have Ireland Engineering camber plates that bolt to the top of the strut mount. If these are the same style - as opposed to the type that replaces the strut mount altogether - you will have increased ride height, and adjustable front camber. Stock setting is dead vertical (0 degrees). When I adjusted mine to -1.7, as far as they'd go, I noticed considerably sharper turn-in response, and it was harder to recover from oversteer.

Depends on how you drive. Ride comfort is unaffected, handling is improved, stability is decreased. If you drive it like a stock E34, I would not bother (now that I drive mine like a stock car, I reset the camber to zero). If you've got stiffer springs, shocks, and swaybars, it's a good addition to all that.

I ended up getting both front spindles, struts, camber plates and springs as well as the rear suspension and springs for a good price. The struts/shocks look usable and not bad at all, they're Bilstein sports I think.
If anyone needs some decent struts/shocks let me know, not sure I need them. Thanks

What shocks and how many miles/years?
Bilstein sports I believe. I don't know the miles on them. They're pretty dirty but like no rust and I'm in Michigan. I'll clean them up and get some better info. My e34 already has pretty new a koni yellow suspension so I doubt I need these
