    ABS connector wiring....

hello all.....im being a real pain this morning...basically im trying to sort out my stupid abs issue.....

the individual before me, had snipped the abs wire connector....iv had an electrician solder the wire properly, but still getting a error code....

    right rear....

can i pull that abs wire connector and its wire from its housing and replace it with a new one? if so, how easy is it? where does the wire lead to? im assuming its another connector somewhere, but where? how do i locate it? how can i chase the wire?

    your help is greatly appreciated.

Post that in the E39 forum. Did you delete the faults already from the system? Maybe the old fault is still there athough repaired. Delete all fault codes and try again.
If you do not delete old fault, the warning might come back for a certain number of times the engine is started, just to make sure the fault is repaired. Also see owners manual about warning lights. On my E32 there are priority 1, 2 and 3.
