Got this for my brother locally in a private sale to encourage him to turbo his e34 but it turns out after checking the serial number I got hosed and is a fake/replica Tial WG unfortunately. I've run china BOVs and wg's on past builds with no issue but with something I've never tried, you never know. The seller said it has a 14psi spring inside. Comes with all fittings and is not watercooled. Just thought I'd see if anyone who doesn't care about brands/QC would want this for a budget build or something. If not this thing has paperweight duties very soon.
$50 shipped OBO?

I'm pretty sure all the new tial wastegstes (mv-s and mv-r) are v-banded and all have water fittings. The older tial sports (non v-banded) do not. Just another way to possibly tell fake from genuine.

It appears this fake is not watercooled anyway, not sure about others.
I wonder if it'll take regular springs
