Unhappy BMW E36 Auxiliary Fan Moving in Anti-clockwise motion

    Hi All,

I recently noticed that my e36 382i overheats when the AC is on and i'm in a stop and go traffic, i was able to narrow done the culprit to the radiator thermo sensor after conducting the auxiliary fan test (which i happily found on bimmerforums). I've changed the sensor only to notice that the auxiliary fan moves in an anti-clockwise motion which i'm not sure i've notice before.

My question is, Is that normal? cos i'm pretty sure the fan should move in a clockwise motion to compensate the engine mounted fan. Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks

UPDATE: I've figured it out, my mechanic mistakenly swapped the power connectors below the auxiliary fan. Now everything works normally, hope this helps someone.
