Can I repaint my mirror caps and trunk lip?

I was curious if it's possible to simply repaint them from white to black, or if I need to buy primed parts and paint them to my liking.

I would not advise painting them black if the car is white (this is the quickest way to make your car depreciate like a rock), but if you are trying to paint match them to a black car just sand, prime, spray
