How do I know if I have sport suspension?

Reason I am asking is because I hear a creaking noise when I turn the steering wheel and the strut mount jerks along with the creaking noise.

Since I am replacing the strut mounts on both sides (might as well), I'll be replacing the struts, too.

But how do I determine if I have SPORT SUSPENSION because the difference on autohausaz is $100 on each?

The car is a 2005 convertible "S" that came with 17" wheels.

Also, is Bilstein struts good for MINI's?

My '03 S has the sport suspension, but I know this because I bought it new. Try Graham's VIN decoder link to see what that shows.
I have Koni yellow sa's on mine with Dinan springs and am very happy with the combination.
