Oil change required?
Hello everyone,
My oil change is coming up in 1000km or so and wanted to raise this question. As you know turbo engines get hot and they evaporate oil. Just a few days ago my car notified me that the oil level is below minimum and to fill up immediately. I filled up the oil and now the tank is full.
Do I still need to conduct an oil change at my dealership? Or have I effectively have changed 80% of the oil with new ones so I can skip this oil change?
Please advise. Thank you.

You likely only topped it off... the difference between high and low is approximately 1/2 liter (my guess)? About how much did you have to put in?
The minimum level light indicates the lowest tolerable amount that should reside in the sump.
So unless I'm missing something, yes go get your oil changed... or you can save money by DIY, you can get the filter at RM European.

An oil top up does not constitute an oil change....
topping up from lo to full takes 1 litre.your engine requires 7 litres.

Thanks, everyone. Apologies for the noob question! Appreciate your time.
