    Bought an e36 with 100k on it at 16 and put about 50k on it over 9 years. For the first few years, I drove it terribly, and I was already the 4th or 5th owner. I used to redline it multiple times a day, including when cold. Looking back, it was foolish, but I never intended to keep the car very long.

    The only things I had to replace aside from tires and brakes were a clutch master, heater valve, one ball joint, thermostat, and water pump.
