S50 valves and springs on m50

Can I swap s50 valves into an m50 heAd or will head need work?

Why would you swap just springs and valves? They should swap directly over but without cams seems like a waste of time imho.

I have old s50 head and I have vanos m50 I want to use most of s50 head components,are the valves the same ?if they are the same then I'll just swap cams and springs

They will swap.

M50/S50 components will swap between themselves or into M52/S52 heads.

Just as a note though, M52/S52 will not necessarily fit into an M50/S50.

Are the s50 valves lighter or stronger?if they are the same then I won't bother swapping valves only springs and cams

I don't think the valves are any different but can't guarantee that and personally, I would swap the S50 valves over with the S50 springs and cams. Once you have the head off the hardest part of the job is done, why not just swap over all the matching components to be safe? Just my .02
